About this opportunity
The Product Development Lead will be responsible for designing, building, and managing ElimuVest’s flagship edtech/learning platform. This role requires a leader who can balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility while working closely with educators, developers, and financial partners. The Product Development Lead will ensure the platform is impactful, scalable, and aligned with ElimuVest’s vision of creating inclusive digital education across Africa.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of ElimuVest’s learning platforms, from concept to launch
- Translate the company’s vision and strategy into a clear product roadmap and execution plan
- Collaborate with educators, developers, designers, and finance experts to design user-friendly solutions
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on research, feedback, and market analysis
- Oversee product design, testing, and iteration to ensure quality and relevance
- Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver on product milestones
- Build systems to track product performance, user adoption, and learning outcomes
- Ensure integration of financial tools with the platform to support affordability and access
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product development, ideally in Edtech, technology, or digital platforms
- Proven ability to take a product from idea to launch and scale
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, product lifecycle management, and agile methods
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to turn insights into practical solutions
- Experience integrating technology with financial services or educational programs is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset—adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable with uncertainty
