Lead DevOps / Cloud Architect

You’ll lead cloud architecture, performance, and DevOps operations across AWS ECS, Jenkins, and Java microservices that power our ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of engineering leadership and hands-on systems design — bridging front-end, backend, and infra teams to deliver enterprise-grade reliability with startup speed.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2) clusters, load balancing, and service discovery.
• Lead migration and optimization of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (automated testing, container deploys, JDK17 updates).
• Ensure seamless delivery of Angular and Java microservices across SIT, UAT, Staging, and Production environments.
• Implement and enforce security-first DevOps, using tools like Trivy, GitLeaks, Semgrep, and dependency scanning.
• Monitor and optimize system health with CloudWatch, Grafana, and AWS X-Ray.
• Collaborate with backend and front-end teams to align API performance with defined SLAs.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and enforce best practices across automation, logging, and observability.
• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Architecture, especially ECS, ECR, RDS, Lambda, and VPC design.
• Deep understanding of Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Proven experience scaling distributed systems to high concurrency levels (1K+ TPS).
• Strong background in Angular + Java/Spring development workflows.
• Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on with security tooling and automation pipelines.
• Clear communicator who can align engineering, product, and QA under tight timelines.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience a major plus.
