About this opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Officer to support the upkeep of hotel facilities and equipment. The role involves carrying out routine inspections, performing minor repairs in areas such as plumbing, electricals, painting, and air-conditioning, and responding promptly to maintenance requests to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities
- Handle plumbing works, painting, electrical repairs, and general maintenance tasks
- Perform basic air-conditioning servicing and troubleshooting
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and quality standards
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and well-maintained
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven working experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong hands-on skills in plumbing, painting, electricals, and general maintenance
- Basic AC servicing skills (cleaning, minor repairs, fault identification)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to reside on-site or be available as required
