This role involves planning farm activities, monitoring crops or livestock, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with agricultural best practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor poultry health, detect illnesses, and administer treatments
- Oversee brooding processes and daily farm operations
- Lead, train, and manage farm labour, including creating and enforcing a clear work timetable
- Ensure strict compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- * Supervise and coach farm workers to maintain productivity and discipline
Requirements
- Diploma Degree or certificate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal husbandry or a related field
- Prior experience in poultry farm management or animal husbandry
- Practical knowledge of crop production, livestock management, or both.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
