# Job Description – Cleaner **Job Title:** Cleaner **Location:** Adenta **Employment Type:** Full-Time ## Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented **Cleaner** to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across assigned facilities. Candidate must reside in or around Adenta and should be below 30 years of age. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine cleaning, maintaining common areas, managing cleaning supplies, and ensuring that all assigned spaces meet required cleanliness and hygiene standards. ## Key Responsibilities * Clean and maintain offices, washrooms, corridors, stairways, lobbies, and other assigned areas. * Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces. * Clean and disinfect washrooms, sinks, mirrors, toilets, and other sanitary facilities. * Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately. * Clean windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, and common areas. * Replenish toiletries, soap, tissue, and other hygiene supplies. * Report damaged equipment, plumbing issues, electrical faults, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor. * Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly used, cleaned, and stored. * Monitor cleaning supplies and inform management when stock needs replenishment. * Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times. * Assist with deep-cleaning activities when required. * Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills. * Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward staff, tenants, visitors, and customers. * Perform other related duties as assigned by management. ## Requirements * Basic education or relevant vocational training. * Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, housekeeper, or similar role is preferred. * Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. * Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. * Good attention to detail. * Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods. * Good time-management and organizational skills. * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ## Key Skills * Cleaning and sanitation * Attention to detail * Time management * Reliability and punctuality * Workplace safety awareness * Teamwork * Communication * Proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals ## What We Offer * Competitive salary * Supportive work environment * Training and development opportunities * Stable employment * Opportunity for career growth ## How to Apply Interested applicants should visit zuludeskcareers.com **Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.**
