The Barber is responsible for providing professional hair cutting, styling, grooming, and shaving services to clients in a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment. This role requires excellent technical ability, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail to ensure a positive client experience and repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality haircuts, beard trims, shaves, fades, and other grooming services according to client requests.
- Advise clients on hair and beard styles suitable for their face shape, hair type, and lifestyle.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards by cleaning tools, chairs, and workstations after each client.
- Manage appointment schedules and walk-in clients efficiently.
- Promote and recommend salon products and grooming services to increase sales.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, modern haircutting techniques, and product knowledge.
Requirements
- NVTI / City & Guilds / Certificate or Diploma in Barbering or Cosmetology (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional barbershop or salon environment.
- roficiency in various hair-cutting techniques (fades, tapers, scissor cuts, etc.).
Skills
