Bartender – Lounge Job Description A client seeking a professional, friendly, and energetic Bartender to join a busy lounge. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a clean and enjoyable environment for guests. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and other beverages according to customer orders. • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. • Take accurate drink orders and process payments where required. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, glasses, and work area. • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to the supervisor. • Ensure proper handling and storage of beverages and bar supplies. • Prepare garnishes and other ingredients needed for drinks. • Recommend drinks to customers based on their preferences. • Maintain responsible service standards and handle difficult or intoxicated customers professionally. • Work closely with waiters, kitchen staff, and lounge supervisors to ensure smooth operations. • Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the lounge's policies and procedures. Qualifications & Requirements • Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a lounge, bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment. • Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar service. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. • Honest, reliable, and well-presented. • Good attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
