About this opportunity
The Architectural Technologist will support the design and delivery of architectural projects by producing accurate technical drawings, coordinating building systems, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. The role bridges concept design and construction, focusing on buildability, detailing, documentation, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Produce and manage technical drawings, details, and specifications across project stages (concept → construction).
- Develop working drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.
- Participate in site visits to verify works align with drawings/specs.
- Prepare drawing packages for planning approvals, tender, and construction.
- Coordinate architectural information with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and specialist consultants.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent Autocad and Revit skills with a portfolio that demonstrates a high level of work across projects and sectors
- Ability to produce high-quality construction details and coordinated drawing sets.
- Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing principles.
- Good document control and file management practices.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Problem-solving mindset—can flag buildability risks early.
